MS Dhoni has always been recognised for his quick running between the wickets, lightning-quick pace behind the stumps, and ice-cold demeanour.

Dhoni’s fans have been eagerly watching him in the Indian Premier League (IPL) . Since his retirement from international cricket last year, at times getting a glimpse into his twilight years.

What MS Dhoni has to say on his fitness?

MS Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), admitted on Monday that while it is difficult to “keep up” with the younger players in the team, he does not want anyone to point fingers at him over his fitness.

He added, although he can’t guarantee results, he tries to stay in shape so that quality of his game can’t be doubted.

MS Dhoni, admitted that “getting old and being fit are two difficult things”.

Dhoni said he has to keep up with younger guys and he feels good to challenge them.

“When you are playing, you don’t really want anyone to say he’s unfit. I have to keep up with the younger guys, they are very fast, it’s good to challenge them,” Dhoni said

Meanwhile, talking about match he said he was glad CSK scored 180 plus in the match. He praised his side’s performance.

“The way we (CSK) have prepare. The bowlers have been under pump last year, so they’re used to it “After being compared to last year’s results, in which CSK finished seventh out of eight teams, Dhoni said.

CSK defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 45 runs on Monday, registered second win of the season.

However, the 39-year-old is going through a scrappy patch with the bat. In the first match, he was dismissed for a duck, but in Monday’s match, he made 18 off 17 balls.
