IPL 2021, PBKS vs SRH: Punjab’s batting fail again; SRH restrict Punjab to 125

IPL 2021 is featuring Punjab Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second half of the double header.

SRH won the toss and offered the Kings to bat first.

Hyderabad managed to take wickets in quick successions and restricted Punjab Kings to a score of 125.

The kings’ batting failed them yet again. They were unable to build any strong partnership at any point of the innings.

KL Rahul and Mayank Aggarwal, the two most successful batsmen for the side came to open the innings for Punjab Kings.

KL Rahul did got the start but was unable to capitalise it. Punjab lost both it’s openers in the fifth over to Jason Holder.

Chris Gayle was sent back to pavallion by Rashid Khan before he could turn dangerous for their side.

Aiden Markram did score 27 of 32 balls but failed to capitalise the start. Punjab lost their wickets in quick successions.

Punjab’s batting line-up up failed to build a partnership at any point of the game.

Ellis and Brar fired some shots in the last over and put a total of 125 on board.

Jason Holder grabbed 3 wickets for 19 runs in four overs and played the crucial role in restricting Punjab Kings.

SRH will come to chase a target of 126 and with a batting line-up like them, it doesn’t seem to be too difficult.
