IPL 2021: Players who can make it to the Indian team for the T20 World Cup

Published Date:

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has always given an ideal platform for Indian teenagers to seize the opportunity to represent their country.

The match with seasoned foreign players, as well as the process of sharing the dressing room with senior Indian campaigners, has bode well for India’s youth.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is approaching, and there is a good potential that some of the great Indian players who perform well in the IPL 2021 would be selected for the Indian World Cup team.

As IPL and T20 World Cup both are going to held in UAE. So the players who will perform best in the second phase of IPL 2021 will might get chance in T20 world cup.

Avesh Khan of the Delhi Capitals has grabbed headlines for his mind-blowing bowling heroics in the first phase of IPL 2021.

He has 14 wickets in the IPL so far, and he has caught big fish like Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni in his web.

Avesh can be a fantastic candidate for Team India in the forthcoming World Cup, since he has a variety of alternatives under his sleeve.

Harsha Patel

The balance in the death bowling has been one of the primary reasons for RCB’s success in first phase of IPL 2021.

Harshal Patel, who has nailed the slower deliveries and yorkers, is the major architect of this.

He’s taken 17 wickets in six games and appears to be captain Virat Kohli’s preferred wicket-taker.

Patel also took a five-wicket haul in the first game of the IPL 2021 against Mumbai Indians, demonstrating his dominance in the format.

He might be a valuable addition to the Indian team.

Chetan Sakariya

In India, there has always been a scarcity of left-arm pacers, and with T Natarajan’s injury troubles, it is critical for Team India to have backups on hand.

Rajasthan Royals left-arm pacer Chetan Sakariya is one player who might be a good backup for T Natarajan.

Sakariya’s slower deliveries and pace variations have always troubled batters in the IPL, and he has already taken 7 wickets in his first season.

Sakariya has already taken seven wickets in the tournament and is also a strong contender for Team India.

Devdutt Padikkal

Devdutt Padikkal of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is a clear selection on this list, since he plays with supreme class and elegance.

He appears to belong at this level based on the shots he plays against world-class bowlers in the IPL.

In the domestic circuit, he has a tonne of runs under his belt, averaging 44.2 in T20s and 34.8 in the IPL.

Padikkal had also scored a century in the 1st phase of IPL 2021.
