Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has exuded some outstanding performances in past 13 seasons of India’s biggest domestic league, Indian Premier League (IPL). The batsman has been a single-franchise player, making his debut with the team in IPL’s inaugural season of 2008.

Kohli currently holds the record for the highest number of runs in a single season of the tournament. His 973 runs with 4 centuries had led RCB to the IPL finals against Sunrisers Hyderabad, back in 2016.
