IPL 2022: Chahal and Hardik Pandya’s Emotional Post after not being Retained

IPL 2022 is currently the biggest cricketing topic in the world in spite of the fact that there are still months left in it.

All IPL franchises have given the list of retained players before the mega auction to BCCI.

This was a tough call for most of the IPL teams as they had a really strong squad and connection with their respective players.

Due to this, Mumbai Indians failed to retain Hardik Pandya and RCB for some reason didn’t retain Yuzi Chahal.

These two are one of the most surprising names that remained unretained after the retention video.

Chahal and Hardik’s emotional Post

Yuzi Chahal and Hardik Pandya are two of the biggest names that remained unretained by their respective franchise.

Both of them have proven themselves to be the match winners for their respective sides on countless different occasions.

RCB retained their ex-skipper Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and fast-bowler Mohammed Siraj.

Yuzi posted a reel on Instagram showcasing his love for RCB and the journey along with them.

After the list of retentions was made official on Tuesday evening, Chahal took to Instagram to express his gratitude to the franchise.

Under a post by the official account of RCB, Chahal wrote, “Thank you for everything Royal Challengers Bangalore.”

RCB replied to Chahal’s comment and won the hearts of their loyal fanbase. “We love you, Yuzi. You’re an RCBian for life. We hope to see you back in RCB colours soonest,” said the franchise.

If Yuzi Chahal goes under the hammer, there’s no doubt that RCB will bid aggressively to bring the leg spinner back in the squad.

Hardik Pandya expressed his gratitude and love for the Mumbai Indians in a similar manner along with all the memory he made throughout his journey with MI.

Hardik posted a video on his Instagram, cherishing all his memories and time spent with the franchise.

“I’ll carry these memories with me for the rest of my life, I’ll carry these moments with me for the rest of my life. The friendships I’ve made, the bonds that have been formed, the people, the fans, I’ll always be grateful. I’ve grown not just as a player but as a person. I came here as a youngster with big dreams – we won together, we lost together, we fought together. Every moment with this team has a special place in my heart. They say all good things must end but @mumbaiindians will remain in my heart forever,” Hardik captioned the post.

Well MI is one of the squads that have faced the most fallback because of the new retention policy.

They lost so many talents like Hardik Pandya because of it.

There’s a high chance that one of the two new teams grab Hardik Pandya before the Mega Auction.
