Teams will have 2 matches against team of their group and one of the team of the second group and single matches against the rest of the members.
This method was last used in 2011, which was also the last time their were 10 teams in the IPL, Pune Warriors India and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
Mumbai and Pune are the only two venues for IPL this year. 3 stadiums from Mumbai and one from Pune.
20 matches in Wankhede Stadium and 20 matches in DY Patil Stadium of Mumbai. 15 matches in Brabourne Stadium Mumbai and 15 matches in MCA International Stadium Pune.
CSK were in lots of problems with Deepak Chahar missing out most of the IPL because of his unfortunate injury.
Deepak Chahar is a really crucial player in the CSK squad necessary to maintain the balanced playing XI.
He would not undergo a surgery and most probably would join CSK really soon which is great news for the yellow army and its fans.
