This method was last used in 2011, which was also the last time their were 10 teams in the IPL, Pune Warriors India and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
Mumbai and Pune are the only two venues for IPL this year. 3 stadiums from Mumbai and one from Pune.
20 matches in Wankhede Stadium and 20 matches in DY Patil Stadium of Mumbai. 15 matches in Brabourne Stadium Mumbai and 15 matches in MCA International Stadium Pune.

Shubman Gill who was one of the pre retained players for Gujarat Titans has revealed, the biggest asset for GT.
