All teams would play 14 match each, 7 home games and 7 away respectively. There would be two groups.
Teams will have 2 matches against team of their group and one of the team of the second group and single matches against the rest of the members.
Group one consists of MI, KKR, RR, DC and LSG and the other one has CSK, PBKS, RCB, GT and SRH.
This method was last used in 2011, which was also the last time their were 10 teams in the IPL, Pune Warriors India and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
Mumbai and Pune are the only two venues for IPL this year. 3 stadiums from Mumbai and one from Pune.
20 matches in Wankhede Stadium and 20 matches in DY Patil Stadium of Mumbai. 15 matches in Brabourne Stadium Mumbai and 15 matches in MCA International Stadium Pune.
Delhi Capitals had a great time at the auction table and they assembled a really great set of players that included the likes of David Warner, Shardul Thakur, Mitchell Marsh, Lungi Ngidi.
DC also have one of the best and most expensive opening Duo in the upcoming season of TATA IPL 2022.
The Duo of David Warner and Prithvi Shaw would definitely be one of the most dangerous pair out there and Shaw can learn a lot batting alongside Warner.
