This was a tough call for most of the IPL teams as they had a really strong squad and connection with their respective players.

KKR’s Opening Pair
All the franchise have built their new teams mostly out of scrap again and recruited a great and strong squad.
IPL Mega Auction was one fascinating event that was just as thrilling as the big IPL Tournament, where many youngsters made a name for themselves.
The two times champion KKR made a great squad for themselves too. They had retained Venkatesh Iyer, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy.
Then in the Auction they bought the likes of Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Pat Cummins, Nitish Rana, Tim Southee, Alex Hales and Mohammad Nabi.
They have a great set of Batsman, Bowlers that would be a great squad and a fine touch with all-rounders like Venkatesh Iyer, Andre Russell and Mohammad Nabi.
Venkatesh Iyer used open alongside Shubman Gill in the previous seasons and before Venkatesh joining the squad Rahul Tripathi had that spot.
Iyer will continue to open for Team India but who will be opening from the other end in absence of Shubhan Gill and Rahul Tripathi.
Alex Hales and Nitish Rana are the big names in the race but their is one name that should also he considered and that is Ajinkya Rahane.
There was a time Rahane used go open for both the Rajasthan Royals and Team India, he might not be in such great form but definitely a name to be put under consideration.
