IPL 2022 is currently the biggest cricketing topic in the world in spite of the fact that there are still months left in it.
All IPL franchises have given the list of retained players before the mega auction to BCCI.
This was a tough call for most of the IPL teams as they had a really strong squad and connection with their respective players.
IPL Auction the must awaited event has now finally begun and IPL would be seen with a new title sponsor again this year.
Will Mr. IPL remain Unsold?
Ishan Kishan has marked his name in the history, he not only surpassed Shreyas Iyer in the bidding war but a young Indian out bidded the likes of David Warner and Quinton de Kock.
Another such moment came in witness when the Auctioneer said the name Deepak Chahar.
Deepak Chahar is currently part of the Indian squad and played really great both with the bat and with the ball.
CSK made their intentions clear from the start, they did let Suresh Raina and Faf du Plessis go but they got back Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo back in the squad.
Then they went all out to get Deepak Chahar and bid till the bidding stop on 14 Cr Rupees Mark making him the Second most expensive player of the current Mega Auction.
There was another moment that shocked everyone around the world that was watching the Mega Auction 2022.

The Veteran Cricketer, Mr. IPL Suresh Raina went unsold from the hammer. CSK didn’t even bid for him and tried to get him back in the squad.
That did put lots of question in the mind of yellow army fans but CSK was saving their purse for Deepak Chahar and it came in use.
CSK or some other Franchise probably would get Suresh Raina on the base price or low price compared to his status when he comes back under the hammer.
