The Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has arrested a bookie for allegedly sharing information of pitch-side with an unknown person in Dubai.
The man came into the notice of the PCB during the opening day of the Rawalpindi Test, Geo TV reported.
The man was spotted continuously talking to someone on the phone after Tea when the rain halted the game.
The authorities have handed the man over to the Agency (FIA) for further probe.
The suspect got entry into the stadium under deejaying credentials even as no spectators were allowed due to COVID-19.
