Rahul Dravid to be appointed as Team India’s coach till World Cup 2023

Rahul Dravid also known as ‘The Wall’ is one of the greatest player in the history of cricket.

The 48 years old is set to take over as the head coach of Team India after the upcoming T20 World Cup in UAE till the year 2023.

Dravid has been the center pillar of the growth of young Indian talent. He has been in charge of the U-19 and India A for the last 6 six years.

He can easily be credited for the success and growth of young and upcoming generation.

This was not the first time that the great Rahul Dravid was approached for this post, in the past BCCI had proposed several proposals to Rahul Dravid but he was a little reluctant.

Dravid’s coaching has given countless stars like Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Hanuma Vihari, Shubman Gill and many more to this country.

Thanks to the the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah they managed to convince Rahul Dravid to accept the position of Team India’s head coach till the World Cup 2023.

Sourav Ganguly also said that Dravid was earlier reluctant but later on agreed to the proposal and the current post won’t be an interim role.

Paras Mhambey is also expected to take over as Team India’s bowling coach, he is Rahul Dravid’s trusted personality.

Fans all over the world are really happy over this particular decision and the former English Captain Michael Vaughan gave a positive response and said If it’s true Rahul Dravid is to be the next Indian coach I think the rest of the world better beware …,”.

The decision is really a great news for Indian fans and Team India. Dravid’s coaching will undeniably be a great asset in the upcoming years for Team India.
