Not Jasprit Bumrah, THIS Pakistan Star Becomes Youngest to Achieve Massive World Record

Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has etched his name in the record books by becoming the youngest player to complete a 100-wicket haul in all three formats of cricket—Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. At just 24 years and 248 days, Shaheen entered an elite club that includes legends like Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga, Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan, and New Zealand's Tim Southee.

On Tuesday, Shaheen achieved this during the first T20I against South Africa at Kingsmead Stadium, Durban. He performed extremely well and took 3/22 in his four-over spell with his wickets involving South African stalwarts Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, and Nqabayomzi Peter.

Shaheen's Record-Breaking Stats
116 wickets in Test cricket
112 wickets in ODIs
100 wickets in T20Is
Shaheen also became the first Pakistani bowler to achieve this feat across formats. He is also the third Pakistani to take 100 wickets in T20Is, after Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan.

A Historic Spell

Shaheen opened the game with a blistering yorker, dismissing Rassie van der Dussen for a golden duck. He later removed an on-fire David Miller, who was batting on 82 off 40 balls, before finishing his spell with Peter's wicket to reach the coveted 100 T20I wickets milestone.

While Shaheen’s brilliance brought him individual glory, Pakistan fell short by 11 runs in their chase of 184. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan’s valiant 74-run knock kept hopes alive, but lack of support from the other end saw the visitors fall just short.

Shaheen’s remarkable achievement adds another feather to his cap, cementing his place as one of the brightest stars in international cricket.
