T20 World Cup 2021, IND vs AUS: India win both their warm-up games ahead of their match with Pakistan

India beat Australia in their final warm up match before they meet their arch rival Pakistan in the super 12.

India after winning this match has conquered both the warm up games and the good news is that the whole Indian squad seem quite confident and in form.

Team India showcase splendid batting and bowling display in their Matches against both England and Australia.

Australia won the toss and batting first could only score 152 at the loss of 5 wickets and India managed to chase the score with 8 wickets and 13 balls remaining.

Match Summary

Australia won the toss and invited India to bowl first. Warner and Finch came to open the innings for Australia.

Ashwin gave Australia two blows in the second over itself and sent Warner and Mitchell Marsh back on consecutive deliveries.

Just when Australia could manage to recover from these blows, Jadeja took the wicket of skipper Finch in the fourth over.

Now Australia were 11-3 in four over. Smith and Maxwell steered the innings in the middle order and did a 61 runs partnership until Maxwell got out in the 12th over.

Maxwell got out after scoring 37 of 28 balls on Rahul Chahar’s delivery.

Then came Stoinis and he played an unbeaten blazing innings of 41 of just 25 balls. Smith completed his half century and both helped Australia reach 152 in 20 overs.

Although Smith got out in the last over but played a really good knock.

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came to open the innings for India and chase the target of 153.

Both batsmen gave team a good start and did an opening partnership of 68 runs until Rahul got out in the 10th over after scoring 39 of 31 balls.

Rohit Sharma and Surya Kumar Yadav steered the innings closer to the target and Rohit Sharma even completed his half century.

Rohit before retiring out scored 60 runs of 41 balls playing the most crucial role in the chase.

Hardik Pandya came to replace Rohit Sharma. Hardik hit a six to conclude team India’s victory.

Both Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya return unbeaten and victorious.

Team India is in a really good form ahead of their match against Pakistan and that is a really good news for the fans all over the world.

India won both warm up games in a dominant fashion.
