Shaheen Afridi gave India their first blow in the first over itself in form of Rohit Sharma and sent him back on duck.

Shaheen Afridi striked again in his very next over and this time it was KL Rahul. This was a controversial dismissal as the delivery on which Rahul got out on was a no-ball.
Umpire did not notice it before giving their decision and Rahul had crossed the boundary line before realising that.
Captain Kohli was then joined by Surya Kumar Yadav, who did got a start but failed to capitalised it and got out in the sixth over. Surya scored 11 runs of 8 balls before losing his wicket to Hasan Ali.
Then came Rishabh Pant in the middle. Pant and Virat joined a crucial partnership of 53 runs in the middle overs helping Team India reach 151.
Pant got out in the 13th over after scoring 39 runs of 30 balls, losing his wicket to Shabad Khan.
Jadeja joined Kohli to maintain the right and left hand combination. Kohli meanwhile completed his half century, a must needed captaincy knock.

Hardik Pandya fired some shots in the end and even got a four from Shaheen Afridi’s over throw but got out in the last over.
India lost too many wickets and failed to capitalise the death overs and as a result could only put 151 on board at the loss of 7 wickets.
Mohammad Rizwan and the skipper Babar Azam came to open the Innings for Pakistan and completely dominated the innings and Indian bowling line-up.
Both batsmen completed their half century and played unbeaten knocks to ensure their team’s victory.
There was not many points in the match where India seemed to have out pressure on any of them. As a result Pakistan defeated India for the very first time in ICC World Cup and broke the historical World Cup Jinx.

What make this victory more special is the fact that it came without a single loss of wicket. A proud feat for the Indian Arch rivals.
Pakistan will now be heading ahead in the tournament with loads of confident and good net run rate.
On the other hand India needs to win their next match against New Zealand to keep their Semifinals hopes alive.
India needs to pull off something like Pakistan because in the history of T20 World Cup India has never defeated New Zealand.
India will be looking forward to break their World Cup Jinx too.
