T20 World Cup has concluded the Semi finals stage with Australia defeating Pakistan with 5 wickets in the second Semifinal.
Australia will now meet New Zealand in the finals of the T20 World Cup 2021.
Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan batting first managed to score 176 runs at the loss of 4 wickets and Aussies chased it with 5 wickets and 6 balls remaining.
Matthew Wade was awarded with player of the match for his match winning blazing knock of 41 of just 17 balls. Wade and Stoinis lead Aussies to victory and earned them a spot in the final.
Match Summary
Australia won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan came to open the innings for Pakistan.
Both openers gave their team a great start and joined a 71 runs opening partnership until Aussies got their first breakthrough in the 10th over.

Babar Azam got out after scoring 39 runs of 34 balls on Adam Zampa’s delivery.
Fakhar Zaman joined Mohammad Rizwan and progressed the scoreboard. Rizwan even completed his half century.
Both of them joined 72 runs partnership until Mitchell Starc dismissed Rizwan in the 18th over. He got out after scoring 67 runs of 52 balls.
Pat Cummins on the very next over took the wicket of Asif Ali and sent him back on a golden duck.
Mitchell Starc gave Pakistan another blow in the last over as he dismissed dangerous man Shoaib Malik on 1 run of two balls.

Fakhar Zaman smashed two sixes on Mitchell Starc to complete his half century and helped his side finish on 176. He scored an unbeaten 55 of 32 balls.
Pakistan did face a couple of hiccups during the end of their innings but still managed to reach a respectable total of 176 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 over.
David Warner and Aaron Finch came to open the innings for Australia and chase the target.
They failed to gave a start as Shaheen Afridi dismissed Aaron Finch on a golden duck in the first over itself.
Mitchell Marsh joined Warner to progress the scoreboard. Both of them joined a crucial 51 runs partnership for their team.
Shadab Khan dismissed Marsh in the seventh over on the score of 28 of 22 balls.

Steve Smith joined Warner but failed to contribute much as Shadab Khan dismissed him on the score of 5 on 6 balls in his very next over.
Shadab Khan gave Australia two more blows in his respective next overs as he dismissed David Warner in the 11th over and Maxwell in the 13th.
Warner missed his half century by just 1 run as he got out after scoring 49 runs of 30 balls.
Marcus Stonis and Matthew Wade were on the pitch now and they were still 81 runs away from the victory and half of the team were back in the pavalion.
Both progressed the innings smartly in the start. Aussies were in need of 62 runs by the last 5 over.

Wade and Stoinis fired some blazing shots but the real twist came in the 19th over when Hasan Ali dropped Matthew Wade, the mistake for which he did not even have to wait to regret as Wade smashed the very next three balls of Shaheen Afridi over the boundary lane.
Wade finished the match for Australia with 6 balls remaining. Both Wade and Stoinis returned not out.
Wade scored an unbeaten 41 of just 17 balls and Stoinis scored 40 runs of 31 balls Not Out.
Australia defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets and 6 balls remaining to enter the finals of T20 World Cup.
