TATA IPL 2022, DC vs LSG: Warner fails on Debut, Shaw smacks LSG’s bowling

TATA IPL 2022 is featuring a clash between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants.

LSG won the toss and elected to bowl first. LSG restricted DC on the score of 149 runs at the loss of 3 wickets.

Prithvi smashed a blazing and crucial half century and scored 61 runs of just 34 balls and helped DC reach a respectable total.

Ravi Bishnoi performed the best with the ball and grabbed two big wickets in his four over spell for just 22 runs.

LSG won the toss and invited DC to bat first. Prithvi Shaw and David Warner came to open the innings for Delhi.

Prithvi Shaw single handedly carried the opening partnership of 67 runs as he contributed 61 runs into it.

David Warner who was making his debut for Delhi once again failed to impress the fans as he returned after scoring 4 runs of 12 balls.

Delhi Capitals lost their three wickets in the span of 4 overs and LSG made a huge comeback in the game.

Krishnappa Gowthan dismissed Prithvi Shaw and provided LSG the crucial breakthrough in the match.

Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Warner and Powell and lead the comeback as he gave LSG constant blows.

Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan joined a 75 runs partnership but it’s run rate was quite slow and they could only manage to hit one boundary in the last three overs.
