TATA IPL 2022, DC vs PBKS: Warner and Shaw made a mockery out of PBKS’ bowling

TATA IPL 2022 featured the 9 wickets victory of Delhi Capitals over Punjab Kings.

DC won the toss and elected to bowl first and bowled out PBKS on the score of 115 runs in 20 overs and then chased it with o wickets and 57 balls remaining

Axar Patel led the Delhi bowling attack and grabbed two huge wickets in his four over spell for just 10 runs.

David Warner smashed a blazing and unbeaten half century and scored 60 runs of just 30 balls.


PBKS got off a bad start and lost four of their big wickets by the seventh over itself on the score of 54.

Dhawan, Livingstone and Bairstow returned after scoring single digit scores, resulting in PBKS thrown on backfoot.

Jitesh Sharma played a crucial cameo of 32 runs of 23 balls and helped PBKS to at least reach the score of 115.

Axar Patel led the Delhi bowling attack and grabbed two huge wickets in his four over spell for just 10 runs.

Khaleel Ahmed, Lalit Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav grabbed two wickets each too and played their crucial role.

David Warner and Prithvi Shaw made a mockery out of the PBKS bowling and smashed 81 runs in the powerplay itself.

Prithvi Shaw did got out after scoring a magnificent 41 of just 20 balls but did his job along with David Warner.

David Warner kept up the pace and not only completed his half century but ensured DC’s victory with 57 balls still remaining.
