TATA IPL 2022, MI vs SRH: MI fell short of just 3 runs after a thrilling chase

TATA IPL 2022 featured a 3 runs victory of Sunrisers Hyderabad over Mumbai Indians

MI won the toss and elected to bowl first. SRH managed to score 193 runs at the loss of 6 wickets and restricted MI on 190 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.

Rahul Tripathi smashed a crucial and blazing knock of 76 runs of just 44 balls and helped SRH reach a good total.

Umran Malik grabbed three wickets in his three overs spell for just 23 runs and lead the SRH bowling attack.

Although Abhishek Sharma got out after scoring just 9 runs in the third over itself. Priyam Garg and Rahul Tripathi joined a crucial 78 runs partnership.

Then after Priyam Garg’s departure Rahul Tripathi joined an amazing 76 runs partnership with Nicholas Pooran.

SRH then lost both Pooran and Tripathi in two consecutive overs and then lost couple more wickets in further over which prevented them reaching the 200 runs mark.

Rahul Tripathi smashed a crucial and blazing knock of 76 runs of just 44 balls and helped SRH reach a good total.

Ramandeep Singh grabbed three wickets in his three overs spell for just 20 runs and lead the MI bowling attack.

MI got a great start as Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan joined a blazing 95 runs opening partnership.

Although MI’s batting collapsed and they lost couple more wickets in short intervals and were on backfoot.

Then came Tim David to rescue and smashed 46 runs of just 18 balls but met an unfortunate run-out.

Then Ramandeep Singh smashed 14 runs in the last over but MI fell short by just 3 runs and could only reach 190 in a thrilling chase but it was lovely thriller to watch.
