SRH won the toss and elected to bowl first and managed to restrict GT on the score of 162 at the loss of 7 wickets.
T Natarajan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar grabbed two wickets each and lead the SRH bowling attack.
Kane Williamson smashed a crucial half century and scored 57 runs of 46 balls and lead his side from front.

Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson came to open the innings for SRH and chase the target.
SRH got off a great start as they joined a 64 runs opening partnership for their team. Abhishek Sharma continued his good form but missed his fifty.
Kane Williamson then continued the scoreboard progression with Rahul Tripathi who returned to pavalion after being retired hurt.
Williamson scored 57 runs of 46 balls before his departure and set the base of his side’s victory.
The remaining was done by Nicholas Pooran who smashed a quick 34 of just 18 balls and ensured SRH’s victory.
Rashid Khan and Hardik Pandya grabbed one wicket each and were the only successful Bowlers from their side.
Rashid Khan dismissed Abhishek Sharma and provided his side with the openy breakthrough but missed from a huge milestone.
He failed to grab his second wicket which was also supposed to be his 100th IPL wicket and now he gotta wait a little more to reach that milestone.
