India vs England: On Friday, England was poised to play India in the last Test match of the five-match series.
The match, however, was cancelled due to rising Covid-19 fears among both teams’ camps.
Since India’s assistant physiotherapist Yogesh Parmar tested positive for COVID-19, the commencement of the match has been a source of speculation.
One day before the match, the entire Indian team returned with negative Covid-19 testing.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) stated more than two hours before the start of the fifth Test at Old Trafford that, after consulting with the BCCI, they have decided to cancel the match.
