1) Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is currently the white ball Captain for Team India and is set to lead Team India for the Longest format of the game too.

2) KL Rahul

KL Rahul can be one other name in consideration as he already lead Team India in absence of Virat Kohli and is set to lead Men in Blue in the ODI series as well.

If Rohit’s consistency in the longest format of the game is something that bothers the board, they might switch to this option.
