UFC 270: The Ace Factor behind the victory of Francis Ngannou

UFC 270 marked the opening of the first UFC Pay Per View of the year 2022 with two huge title matches.

There were total number of five bouts on the main card of the UFC 270.

The Co-Main Event featured the much trilogy fight between Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo.

The Main Event featured none other than the most anticipated Heavyweight bout for the Heavyweight Championship of the World.

Francis Ngannou Retains

UFC 270 was one of the most awaited UFC event of the year as it marked the beginning of this year’s pay per view.

In the first fight of the Main Card, Michael Morales earned a first round TKO victory against Trevin Giles in a Welterweight bout.

The second fight featured the Bantamweight fight between Said Nurmagomedov and Cody Stamann, Said won the Match by submission in the first Round.

The third fight was an absolute war between Michel Pereira and Andre Fialho. Pereira made a explosive winning comeback in the last two rounds of the match after being dominated in the first one.

The Main Event was the most anticipated fight in the Heavyweight Division, the clash of the two heavyweight colossal Titans.

Francis Ngannou secured a thrilling and shocking Unanimous Decision victory over the Interim Champion and retained his title.

Cyril Gane just like his previous bouts tried to gas out Francis and even managed yo dominate the first two rounds of the fight.

Francis Ngannou made a huge comeback in the last three rounds of the match but not with his monstrous punching power, instead displayed his best ever ground game.

He took down Gane for four times and was slamming a 250 plus pounder and dominated Cyril Gane on ground.

This was the first time ever that Gane was put on his back and he surely wasn’t ready for this wrestling attacks from Francis which were the ace factor in the Ngannou’s victory.

Francis Ngannou in his post fight interview said that people were sleeping on him but he has been proving them wrong since ever and will continue to do so.
