Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and former Team India captain, is known for his calmness and cool demeanor on the field, but he also has his share of fun and laughter off the field.

A video captured by a CSK cameraperson during one of the team’s practice sessions during the IPL’s recently suspended season.

Dhoni was seen imitating CSK teammate Ravindra Jadeja’s sword celebration.

Jadeja is known for his sword celebrations, in which he transforms his bat into a sword and wields it as if he were in a war ground whenever he hits a landmark with the bat, such as fifty or a century.

Dhoni, on the other hand, imitated the celebration without the bat, and Jadeja was swift to notice and react.

“Should try with the bat,” Jadeja said in response to a video posted on Instagram by the Chennai Super Kings.

Meanwhile, Jadeja, who was playing for CSK in the now- cancelled IPL, was having a fantastic season with both bat and ball.

In seven games, he scored 131 runs at a strike rate of over 161.

In addition, the all-rounder took six wickets at a 6.70 economy pace.

Jadeja is also part of the BCCI’s 18-man squad for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.

On the other hand, this season was going best for the CSK . As CSK is in second position in the IPL standings with 10 points.
