Johnny Gargano is one of the people who made NXT the top brand from being a promotional or secondary brand in the WWE.
Gargano alongside the likes of Ciampa, Adam Cole, Finn Balor, Keith Lee made the Black and Gold.
He was indeed the Heart and Soul of NXT, the black and Gold NXT.
Gargano’s contract with WWE came to an end and in spite of being offered a new deal he refused to sign it.

Johnny Gargano also known as Johnny Wrestling and Johnny Takeover among the fans is now officially a free agent.
Gargano’s contract came to an end before the War Games pay per view but it was extended by a week for the event.
He was offered another contract but refused to sign a new deal with the WWE and he along with his wife is a free agent.
He does hold the freedom to sign a contract with any company he wants, whenever he wants.
After the War Games PPV Gargano interacted with fans and told them he got a news for them.
Following the next NXT, he made it clear that his time in NXT has come to an end after the segment ended with him being attacked.
When the show stopped telecasting he was joined by his long time friend, tag team partner and opponent, Tommaso Ciampa who shared a really overwhelming moment with his friend.
They were joined by Kyle O’Reilly alongside the ring, he is leaving NXT along with Johnny Gargano.
Both of them had their great runs in NXT, Kyle was even supposed to win the NXT title but things didn’t go as we all wanted them too.
Currently Johnny and his wife Candice are expecting their first child and Johnny probably would be on a break till February.
The most possible next stop Is AEW for the former NXT Champion.
