He played a great knock in the first test match too and his Partnership with Warner was the most important benchmark of the Aussies’ innings.
Marnus Labuschagne has just took the top spot on the ICC test Rankings. He is now the World’s no.1 test batsman.
He has surpassed his Ashes rival and the skipper of English squad Joe Root to reach this position.
He currently got 913 points, which are 15 more than the English skipper.
Marnus Labuschagne is one of the four Australian test batsman in list. Steve Smith, David Warner and Travis Head are other the other names.
Meanwhile Joe Root is currently the only English Batsman in the list.
