Realme yesterday made the announcement that it will reveal the Realme GT3 smartphone with 240W charging on February 28. The GT Neo5 240W, which is presently available only in China, was proven to equal the Realme GT3 240W’s charring speed. Now that Realme has released a design teaser, it seems the similarities between the two devices won’t stop there.
A picture of the GT3 240W from Realme was shared on Twitter and resembles the GT Neo5 in black. On the back are three cameras, each with an RGB LED rectangle. Additionally, a text message verifies that the smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
It would be the first time a GT Neo series smartphone had its branding changed to become a standard flagship, if the Realme GT3 240W is a rebranded GT Neo5. So the GT3 240W will include a 6.74″ 144Hz AMOLED screen, Realme UI 4.0, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage, among other features. A 16MP selfie camera will be available on the smartphone, while the triple camera arrangement on the back will have 50MP primary (with OIS), 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP microscope cameras.
Stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint reader, and a 4,600 mAh battery with 240W wired charging round out the Realme GT3 240W’s other standout features.
The GT Neo5 also comes in a 150W version with a 5,000 mAh battery. It’s unclear, though, whether it will be released outside of China under the GT3 150W moniker.
