Amazon has got for you its first-ever dedicated sleep device-Halo Rise. This new sleep monitor doesn’t require you to wear a device while you sleep.
Halo Rise will be seated at the side of the bed. It uses sensors or a form of radar, to spot how sound your sleep was. It will also count for how long you slept. Amazon Halo Rise has a digital clock also; it works as a full-on bedside clock.
Amazon just held its latest product release announcement. The e-retail giant reiterates there are no microphones or cameras on this bedroom device. There are lights and a small speaker for your alarm tones.
You can see a semi-circle of lights, it can also work as a reading light at nighttime. Wouldn’t it be great to know which stage of sleep you are in?
Track Sleep Patterns with Amazon Halo Rise
The smart sleep device also tracks your respiration. This is how it will be able to understand your sleep without contact.
Amazon boasts of its algorithms that are so specific that it can monitor your respiration.
Its set-up is intuitive and easy; all you need is just tell it which side of the bed you are sleeping on. It will automatically start monitoring your sleep.
Halo Rise sends your breathing patterns to the Amazon Cloud for analysis.
These patterns are encrypted in transit and automatically deleted from the system and database ten days later.
For those who are interested, Halo Rise will be on sale later in 2022 for $139.99. It also includes six months of Amazon Halo membership. And guess what? It is available in the U.S. only.
