Amazon has brought updates to its Kindle Paperwhite line-up. This comes with a new updated base model having a large 6.8-inch screen.

It also has ten per cent more brightness with 8GB of storage and support for USB Type-C charging.

Moreover, the front design has been improved with smaller borders around the screen.

A second variant ‘Signature Edition’ retains most of the specifications but it gives the users higher storage at 32GB plus an auto-adjusting front light.

It will tune the brightness according to the environment. This one comes with wireless charging.

As per Amazon, both reader’s can last up to 10 weeks on a single charge; if the user reads up to an hour per day.

The readers’ also come with Amazon‘s updated interface. The users will be able to switch between the Home Screen, Library and the book they were last reading quickly.

It also comes with a new library experience.

The Kindle Paperwhite comes at a price of Rs. 13,999 in India. Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is priced at Rs. 17,999.

Both models come in Black colour and will be available for pre-order through Amazon. in starting September 22.

Furthermore, both the Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition are made using 60 per cent post-consumer recycled plastics plus 70 per cent recycled die-cast magnesium.
