An MP from Telangana has written to IT Minister Ravishankar Prasad about the launch of the Battlegrounds Mobile India.

According to the Lok Sabha MP from Nizamabad Arvind Dharampuri, a local social activist Sai Kumar is opposing the game.

The letter doesn’t demand the ban but it highlights the issues with the game. The letter urges the government to look into the matter more closely before the launch of the game in India.

According to the social activist, the game stores data in India and Singapore and allows international data transfer. South Korea will govern the Terms of Services.

According to the reports, Dharampuri has also asked the IT Minister to look into Krafton’s investments and agreements for the security of the country.

This is not the first time when a government official has given representation against the game, but several times the game has been opposed by the leaders and officials in India.
