A futuristic self-driving flying vehicle has been unveiled by General Motors Co unveiled on January 14, 202, the 4th last day of CES 2021.
This self-driving carries the passengers above the street through the air. The concept of this flying vehicle was described as “reimagining the future of personal transportation” by a senior GM executive.
The single passenger flying Cadillac is technically a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone. This flying vehicle can travel from one rooftop to another at a speed of up to 55 miles per hour.
An all-electric vehicle is fully autonomous and has a 90Kw motor, a GM Utium battery pack. It will have an ultra-lightweight body with four pairs of rotors.

As a virtual keynote presentation, Mary Barra, Chief Executive, released a video of Cadillac.
Last year, Barra disclosed that it was making effort to develop alternative transportation modes as aerial taxis.
“VTOL is key to GM’s vision for a multimodal future,” he said.
According to the video, the autonomous Cadillac has a boxy silhouette. It offers fore and aft sliding doors and a panoramic glass roof. In its cabin, the flying vehicle offers wraparound lounge-like seats, biometric sensors, voice control, and a hand gesture recognition system.
