Now you can use dark mode for Google Search pages on desktop. Announced by Google, dark mode will be available for search pages including the Google homepage, search results page, and Search settings, among others.

Google began testing the dark mode for desktop in December last year. However, the feature is already available for Google Search on mobile.

With this new addition, the users will be able to choose from three options in Appearance Settings.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to activate dark mode on its Search for desktop:

  1. You may choose from the three options: Device default, dark or Light.
  2. Click Save at the bottom.
