Users can now set both an image and an avatar as their profile photo thanks to Instagram’s new dynamic profile photo feature. The social media site said on Twitter that users can now put their avatars on the other side of their profile pictures and switch between the two.
How to use
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app.
Step 2: Select the profile icon.
Step 3: Tap the profile photo to edit it.
Step 4: Include an avatar in your profile.
When someone visits your profile, your avatar will instantly replace your profile image.
In order to compete with Snap’s Bitmoji, Meta first introduced avatars in 2020. Since then, it has regularly updated them on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
A few days prior to the launch, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri declared that the platform would prioritise photos more in 2023. He acknowledged that too many films were displayed on the site last year.
