Google is rolling out toll prices on Google Maps in India. The new update will allow the users to find the estimated toll price to their destination even before their trip starts.
It will flash the toll pricing information from local tolling authorities.
How will it happen? Toll prices will roll out on Android and iOS in April only for nearly 2,000 toll roads in India, the US, Japan and Indonesia.
Soon, more countries will be covered. Also, for those looking to explore alternative routes, Google Maps will provide the option of a toll-free route too.
“A simple tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the directions in Google Maps will let users select the route options and avoid tolls if they wish to avoid toll routes completely,” Google said.
Additionally, Google also released new updates for iOS users.
Apple Watch users will also be able to get directions on Google Maps directly from their Watch.
