Popular search engine Google is planning to launch a new feature for its extension Chrome 90. The new feature will allow user to create a link for a website.

According to The Verge, the feature was first launched as the browser extension. It was known as the “Link to Text.”

Now Google has included this feature in Chrome. However, this feature is limited to some users.

According to the Google product manager Kayce Hawkin, those who want to update this feature need to follow the steps mentioned below.

“Visit a webpage, highlight the text you want to create a link to, right click, and select ‘Copy link to highlight .‘ A URL ending in a pound sign will be generated, which you can share with others. When they open the link, they will be sent to specific highlighted section instead of the beginning of the page.”
