Instagram will now let creators upload up to 60-second clips on Reels. Initially, the duration of Reels began 15 seconds later it got increased to 30 seconds.

This extension of duration comes at a time when Instagram stated that it is no longer a photo-sharing app.

Now onwards creators can record 60-second Reels through its Twitter handle using the Galaxy brain meme.

In order to create Reels longer than 30 seconds, users will have to set the length of the video before recording it.

For that, you will have to open the Reels recording interface by swiping right on the feed. Tap on the down arrow at the left or right side of the screen to see all the available options.

Then tap on the ‘Length’ option twice. Choose the Length button between either 15, 30, or 60 seconds. Instagram Reels expanding the duration of videos to 60 seconds is indeed good news for creators.
