Lenovo has unveiled a new dual-display ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 laptop in India. In addition to the main 17.3-inch screen, the laptop also contains a second 8-inch screen right next to the touchpad. The secondary display “greatly supports the hybrid work requirements of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) by helping them to increase productivity,” the company claims. The secondary screen, which is still larger than most smartphones, comes with a pen to help users create on it. Despite having two large monitors, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 weighs only 2 kilogrammes.

Price for the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 will start at Rs. 1,94,990. The laptop may be bought via Lenovo’s online webpage and offline. At the time of writing, the laptop was still not mentioned on the official Lenovo India website.
Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 specifications
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 has a 17.3-inch ultra-wide display with a 21:10 aspect ratio, 3K resolution (3072×1440 pixels), touch capabilities, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The secondary 8-inch display is touch-enabled and features an HD resolution (800×1280 pixels). The dimensions of the laptop are 410.9 x 230.2 x 17.95 mm, which is rather large.
It is powered by an Intel Core i7-12700H CPU from the 12th generation (14-cores). The CPU is paired with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB Soldered LPDDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe storage.
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 also has dual speakers with 2W output and Dolby Atmos compatibility. Harman and Kardon offer the sound, according to Lenovo. The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 comes in only one colour: grey. Similar to the ThinkBook 14 Gen 4 and ThinkBook 15 Gen 4, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 uses sustainable packing materials and eco-friendly designs.
Because the laptop is designed for professionals, it comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. There includes a camera privacy shutter and Windows Hello compatibility with an IR camera for security. The laptop’s 69Wh battery guarantees up to 6.5 hours of backup time in the MobileMark battery test. The IO ports are positioned on the backside of the device. There is an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, and a USB-C port with charging capability.
