The Poco X5 series has been launched in public all across the world. The Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro are in the lineup. The Poco X5 Pro 5G has only recently been made available in India, whereas the Poco X5 in its pure form is not available there.
Price of the Poco X5, Poco X5 Pro
The Poco X5 is priced at $249 (around Rs 20,600) for the base 4GB/128GB model and $299 for the 8GB/256GB version (roughly Rs 24,750). The base 6GB/128GB Poco X5 Pro model costs $299 (around Rs 24,750), while the top-tier 8GB/256GB model costs $349. (roughly Rs 28,900).
All Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro models are also eligible for a $50 (about Rs 4,150) Early Bird discount from Xiaomi. Beginning tomorrow, February 7, the Poco X5 series will be offered for purchase in all countries. Prices, however, could differ regionally.
Specifications for the Poco X5 5G
The Snapdragon 695 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM power the standard Poco X5 5G. Additionally, it has up to 256GB of storage, which can be increased by up to 1TB via a microSD card. The 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen on the Poco X5 5G has a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits and supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone uses MIUI 14, which is based on Android 12. A 5,000 mAh battery and 33W rapid charging are included in the Poco X5 5G. The Poco X5 has a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera for optics. There is a 13 MP selfie camera on the front.
A 5,000 mAh battery inside the Poco X5 5G enables 33W charging. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone has NFC functionality and an IP53 grade for splash resistance. The Poco X5 5G is available in the colours Green, Black, and Blue.
Specifications for the Poco X5 Pro 5G
The Snapdragon 778G SoC along with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage power the Poco X5 Pro 5G. The phone’s operating system is Android 12 with a MIUI 14 for Poco skin applied. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast-charging capabilities is also included in the Poco X5 Pro.
A 6.67-inch Xfinity 10-bit AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate is reportedly anticipated for the phone. You can choose the adaptive refresh rate between 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. Additionally supported by the display are Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The Poco X5 Pro’s optics include a 108 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. The primary camera also has OIS support. The X5 Pro 5G has a 16 MP selfie camera on the front.
It has two stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support and an IP53 rating for splash protection. The X5 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and an IP53 grade for splash protection. The phone is available in the colours Astral Black, Poco Yellow, and Horizon Blue.
