The renders of the Apple iPhone 14 series continue to surface online ahead of the smartphone’s launch later this year. A reliable graphic designer has once again revealed the high-quality renders of the iPhone 14 Pro. Interestingly, they look similar to CAD renders of the iPhone 14 Pro that were leaked earlier in the month of April. These alleged renderings support claims that the iPhone 14 Pro models will feature a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout on the front instead of the notch seen on the iPhone 13 Pro series.
Graphic designer Ian Zelbo (@ianzelbo) shared highly detailed design renderings of the iPhone 14 Pro on YouTube in collaboration with Front Page Tech channel’s Jon Prosser (@jon_prosser). They provide a clear view of the pill-shaped hole-punch slot on the TrueDepth camera. The smartphone appears to have narrower bezels, which should give the phone a slightly larger screen size as compared to the iPhone 13 Pro.

iPhone 14 camera upgrade
Meanwhile, a recent report from Korean website etnews suggested that the selfie camera of iPhone 14 series may get a major upgrade. The report claims that Apple is reportedly looking to buy high-end selfie cameras for its iPhone 14 series. Moreover, it is considering a deal with LG Innotek for the supply of the camera, alongside Sharp.
If true, this would be the first time that the front camera of an iPhone will include a shooter made by a Korean company. Also, Apple will in future designate selfie cameras as high-end components in the future, instead of the previously used low-end ones.
LG Innotek’s camera was originally been planned for use on the iPhone 15, but Apple recently pushed the schedule in a hurry. If the report is true, the iPhone 14 models will support autofocus on their selfie snappers. Moreover, the unit price of the front camera of the iPhone 14 has reportedly almost tripled compared to previous models.
The reason given is that some quality problems occurred during the quality inspection of the cameras made in China. However, there are not many sources to support the rumour, so just take it with a pinch of salt.
Well, the Apple iPhone 14 series has become the talk of the town. Well-known tipster LeaksApplePro recently claimed that if all goes according to plan, the Cupertino-based tech giant could unveil its iPhone 14 lineup on September 13. However, a recent development had caused a storm among Apple fans, leaving them shocked. In his latest blog post, LeaksApplePro had warned users that Apple is likely to rebadge old components to make the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models. The tipster had even shared the possibility in March.
Apple iPhone 14 leak raises concerns
The development sparked concerns among Apple fans, who believe the tech giant could trick them into thinking they’re getting a better deal on the iPhone 14 lineup. The blog post claims that the iPhone 14 will be identical to the iPhone 13. Furthermore, it says that users won’t be able to spot the difference even if they keep the devices next to each other.
“The iPhone 14 will be disappointing for some people in many ways,” argues the leaker. “For starters, it will look identical to the iPhone 13. That’s right, even if you were to put those devices next to each other, you wouldn’t notice the difference unless you went into its settings,” read the post.
The blog post also indicates that the iPhone 14 will feature an A15 processor, with the possibility of being rebranded as an A16. However, as per the blog post, the only consolation for Apple fans is that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will cost $799 (around Rs. 62,177) and $899 (around Rs. 69,960) respectively.
The Pro models of the iPhone 14 lineup will most likely get a new design and massive camera improvements. According to the blog post, entry-level storage will be 256GB on the Pro models, as opposed to the iPhone 13 Pro models, which start at 128GB.
