The iPhone 15 Pro has received a lot of attention over the last few days. Many things are anticipated of the 2023 iPhone Pro models, including the removal of physical buttons and assuring quick data transfers. And now, we have some information on the regular iPhone 15, which suggests a potential design change influenced by an earlier iPhone.
This New Design Will Be on the iPhone 15!
Trusted leaker Shrimp According to a recent tweet from ApplePro, the iPhone 15 will have a “new border design” that calls for rounded back corners rather than flat ones. This design is similar to the square front and rounded edge corners of the iPhone 5C.

From the early information that I have, the iPhone 15 will feature a new border design. The back edge corner (as pointed out in the images) will be rounded and not square anymore.
The material also will be titanium.
Still very early to take it as it is. pic.twitter.com/hbdCKUhVP9
In addition, the iPhone 15 is anticipated to have a titanium body, which will give it a more upscale appearance compared to the iPhone 5C’s 2013 plastic construction. It is unknown whether a Titanium build will be available on all iPhone 15 devices or only on the Pro versions. Like the iPhone 5C and the iPhone 11, there’s a chance that the forthcoming vanilla iPhone models will come in a variety of colours as well.
It is too early to define this information as genuine, the tweet adds in a further clarification. To get a better sense, we’ll need to wait for further information.
Apple’s use of the square-edge design on its iPhones (and even MacBooks and iPads) has generated both favourable and unfavourable comments. Others have grumbled about how uncomfortable it was, even though other people may have appreciated it. Returning to rounded edges on the rear could resolve this problem and even require a minor design modification.
In addition, it is rumoured that the iPhone 15 would likely support a USB Type-C port because Apple has stated that it will adopt USB-C to comply with EU rules. All iPhone 15 models should support the new Dynamic Island and come with a number of camera improvements, a larger battery, and other features.
Before the second half of 2023, when the iPhone 15 series is expected to debut, expect plenty of speculations to circulate. Stay tuned for additional details on the upcoming iPhones, and let us know what you think about any potential design changes for the iPhone 15 in the comments section below.
