The long-awaited JioBook laptop may anytime be rolled out by the company in the market. It will be available at an affordable price.

The launch is said to take place by May. It will run Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset and Android OS. The device will have its JioOS UI.

JioBook laptop, according to the rumors, will be available at Rs 9,999 and will support 4G LTE connectivity. It will have a 720p HD display.

According to the sources, Jio has entered into a partnership with the Chinese company Bluebank communication Technology to offer this affordable laptop.

Specs and Features

According to the sources, JioBook comes with Snapdragon 665 SoC, Android OS UI called JioOS, 4G LTE support, and a 720p HD display. It is likely to enter the PVT (Product Validation Test) by mid-April. The launch is expected by May.

Two models of the laptop are expected to appear in the market, a 2GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB eMMC storage and a 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage.

It is likely to offer a mini HDMI connector for video output, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a three-axis accelerometer, and a Qualcomm audio chip.

Launch

According to XDA, Jio may launch its JioBook by mid-May. It might be priced at Rs 9,999. The price may vary between different models and storage capacity.
