Mysterious Nokia smartphone revealed accidentally by Google

Nokia 5.4: Launch date, expected price, and other details

Nokia 5.4 has unknowingly been revealed on Google AR Core Supported Devices List, confirming the smartphone exists. This revelation came shortly after the specifications of the Nokia 5.4 were leaked.  Nokia 5.4 is the successor to the Nokia 5.3 which was introduced earlier this year.

My Smart Price has spotted the Google AR Core sighting of Nokia 5.4. Nokia 5.4 joins an existing range of Nokia smartphones, including Nokia 6, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.2, for devices compatible with Google’s AR Core platform.

This confirms the existence of the Nokia 5.4 and also suggests an imminent launch. Since the Nokia 5.3 was released only a few months ago, we may not see the Nokia 5.4 just yet.

Nokia 5.4 specifications (Expected)

MSP had recently published the smartphone’s specifications. The Nokia 5.4 is said to have a 6.39-inch LCD screen with HD + resolution.

It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone will also have a microSD card slot to expand storage.

Nokia 5.4 will reportedly come with a 4000 mAh battery and run Android 10 out-of-the-box.

The smartphone would have a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 16-megapixel front camera will also be available for selfies.

Other upcoming Nokia launches

Before the Nokia 5.4, we’ll most likely see other Nokia smartphones that have been expected to launch for quite some time now.

These include the Nokia 9.3 PureView, Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 7.2. HMD Global is also scheduled to launch a new Nokia smartphone with Android 10 (Go Edition) on December 15 in China.
