Specifications and features of Nothing Ear (2)
The Ear (2) is equipped with a proprietary 11.6mm audio driver in a novel dual-chamber design that is supposed to improve overall sound quality. The wireless earbuds offer dual-connection to connect to two approved devices at the same time. Nothing stated that the earbuds will be upgraded with wind-proof and crowd-proof ‘Clear Voice Technology,’ as well as customised Active Noise Cancellation.
Personal Sound Profile is one of the new features included with the Ear (2) update. According to the business, after completing a hearing test in the Nothing X app, the Ear (2) allows customers to build a Personal Sound Profile with their hearing ID. This enables the earbuds to modify the equaliser and sound profile in real time to fit the user’s hearing for an ideal listening experience.
Furthermore, each earbud has three microphones and an AI noise reduction system for a better voice call experience. The Ear (2) offers active noise cancelling technology. It has adaptive mode, which automatically adjusts the noise reduction level based on the reading from the ambient environment.
Nothing claims that the Ear (2) can provide up to 36 hours of audio listening when used in conjunction with the charging case and with ANC switched off. It can last up to 8 hours on a 10-minute charge with rapid charging. The Ear (2), like its predecessor, allows wireless charging. (up to 2.5W).
The earphones and charging case are water and dust resistant, with IP54 and IP55 ratings. On Android smartphones, the Ear (2) supports Google Fast Pair, and on Windows devices, Microsoft Swift Pair.
