545 RTX 4070 Ti machines were sold by NVIDIA during the third week of January. This covers every variation offered by the German store Mindfactory. This quantity is higher than the 210 and 190 units sold for the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, respectively.
A week’s worth of sales for the RTX 4070 Ti exceeded those for the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, RX 7900 XT, and Intel Arc A770/A380 combined. Only 20 Alchemist GPUs have been sold collectively in the latter’s current sales, making it exceptionally weak.
With only 300 XTX cards and 200 XT variants sold, the RX 7900 series clearly trails behind NVIDIA RTX 40 GPUs in terms of sales.
Despite having fewer custom designs available, the RX 7900 XTX, which is marketed as a direct competitor to the 4080, sold 110 units more.
Furthermore, AMD sold 410 units of Radeon RX 6700 XT, while NVIDIA RTX 3060 sold 485 units. This demonstrates how crucial the upper mid-range area is at the moment, but neither AMD nor NVIDIA have made their next-generation intentions for this segment public. Intel, the third contender, has only sold 10 units of its Arc A770 in a similar price and performance segment.
