OnePlus released their flagship smartphone for 2023, the OnePlus 11, to overseas markets earlier this month. The Chinese smartphone company is now preparing to reveal a new concept phone, the OnePlus 11 Concept, at the MWC 2023.
OnePlus has released a teaser for their forthcoming concept phone, the OnePlus 11, which features a ‘flowing back’ design. The design incorporates a meandering stream-like LED lighting pattern, a ring enclosing the camera module, and a unibody glass construction that appears to “flow back.”
A flowing back “shows the engineering advances of the OnePlus 11 Concept by showcasing the ice blue pipelines which run through the entire back of the phone, almost like OnePlus 11 Concept has its own network of blood arteries,” according to the firm.
In 2020, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Concept One, a concept phone with an invisible camera island and a design influenced by McLaren. The business unveiled the OnePlus 8T Concept at MWC in 2021, which featured electrochromic glass with an electronic colour material and finish that produced a glass effect that changed colour.
The OnePlus 11 features a 120Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and up to 16GB of RAM.
The OnePlus 11 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, as well as up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging and comes with a charger. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an adjustable refresh rate of 120Hz that can be reduced to 1Hz. The panel, which has a peak brightness of 1300 nits and is housed in a black hole-inspired camera island, supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback. A 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP telephoto camera are all calibrated by Hasselblad.
It is currently unknown if the OnePlus 11 will ever be put on sale or if it will just ever exist as a unique concept phone.
