OPPO Find N2 Flip vs OPPO Find X5 Pro: Ultimate specs comparison

Published Date:

Two of OPPO’s most remarkable high-end flagship phones ever, with one-of-a-kind features and extraordinary specs, were released last year. The OPPO Find X5 Pro is a non-folding phone with amazing features, whereas the OPPO Find N2 Flip is the company’s first ever foldable flip phone. The former has just hit global stores and is the first OPPO foldable phone sold in international markets, whilst the latter has been available in the global market since 2022. Which of these OPPO flagships is the very finest, though? Let’s compare the features of these two smartphones, including their price, hardware, software, camera, battery, and display. The key features of the OPPO Find N2 Flip and the OPPO Find X5 Pro are compared here.

Design

The OPPO Find N2 Flip has a foldable design that enables it to split in half to drastically reduce its size. This is the strongest feature of a foldable phone, thus it stands to reason that this phone is more beautiful in terms of design. On the other hand, the OPPO Find X5 Pro features a far more elegant appearance with a ceramic back cover and a metal frame with curved glass on the front protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The IP68 certification demonstrates that this phone, the only one of the pair, is waterproof and dustproof. Which one of these two layouts do you like better?

Display

The 6.8-inch diagonal foldable AMOLED display on the OPPO Find N2 Flip has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. Moreover, it sports a 3.26-inch AMOLED panel external display with a 382 x 720 pixel resolution. The primary foldable display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and support for up to one billion colours. On the other hand, the OPPO Find X5 Pro boasts a bigger, higher-resolution display. A more immersive viewing experience is provided by the device’s 6.7-inch AMOLED panel, which has a Quad HD+ resolution of 1400 x 3216 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The OPPO Find X5 Pro is the ideal option if you want the highest visual quality because of its superior panel.

Features and Software

The processors in the OPPO Find N2 Flip and the OPPO Find X5 Pro are different. The OPPO Find X5 Pro sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, whilst the OPPO Find N2 Flip utilises a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor. Both processors have eight cores, but the OPPO Find X5 Pro’s has a slower clock speed of 3 GHz and somewhat less performance. The OPPO Find X5 Pro has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, but the OPPO Find N2 Flip has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage (albeit in Europe, it only comes in a version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB). The OPPO Find X5 Pro ships with Android 12 operating system customised by ColorOS 12, while the OPPO Find N2 Flip ships with the most recent Android 13 operating system with ColorOS 13.

Camera

The OPPO Find X5 Pro includes a triple rear camera with three 50MP sensors, including a main sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a telephoto lens. The OPPO Find N2 Flip has a twin rear camera with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. A 32MP front camera is also included on the OPPO Find X5 Pro, and a 32MP front camera is also present on the foldable. The Find X5 Pro is superior to its rival since it features better secondary sensors and OIS.

Battery

The OPPO Find X5 Pro boasts a sizable 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging compatibility, whereas the Find N2 Flip has a larger 4300mAh battery and 44W fast charging support. You do not need us to inform you who won.

Price

The starting price of the OPPO Find X5 Pro is approximately €1300 or $1393, while the OPPO Find N2 Flip is available globally for €1200 or $1286. Which would you choose?
