The re-launch of the Players Unknown Battleground (PUBG Mobile) in India may be delayed till March next year.
If the information shared by the sources close to development goes right, the fans and game lovers in India will not be able to enjoy the features of the game this festive season.
“We don’t see the game making a comeback in India for the next few months, at least not before March 2021. It’s unfortunate but everyone has to live with it,” sources told InsideSport.
According to the report, PUBG Mobile officials have tried to hold a meeting with the officials at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, but all their efforts went in vain.
The game was banned across the country in September apparently after the app was alleged for sharing sensitive data across the border.
After the ban in India, China lost the rights of PUBG Mobile. Chinese Tech giant Tencent used to own the rights of the game. Krafton, the parent company, is looking after the operation of the product as an independent company in India.
