Realme C55: India launch date, price and specs

Published Date:

Realme C55, a new C-series smartphone, will be introduced in India on March 21st, according to a statement from Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme. With a 64MP primary camera, a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, a 90Hz refresh rate FHD+ display, 33W fast charging capability, and other features, the Realme C55 has already been introduced in Indonesia.

Despite the fact that the company’s C-series handsets are normally inexpensive, the upcoming Relame C55 is anticipated to be the priciest smartphone to launch in this series. Let’s examine the phone’s expected release date, selling price, features, and design in advance of the unveiling event.

When will the Realme C55 launch in India?

On March 21 at 12:30 PM, the company will introduce the low-cost smartphone to the nation, the company has announced to the media. Two weeks after being introduced in Indonesia, the Realme C55 is now available in India.

Indian Realme C55 cost, storage, and colour options (expected)

It is believed that the Realme C55 will cost roughly Rs 15,000 in India. We anticipate the phone will cost less than Rs 15,000 because it is a 4G mobile. When the Realme C55 is formally introduced in the nation, more details about the price will be available. In Indonesia, the Realme C55 costs Rp 2,499,000 (about Rs 13,300) for the base 6GB+128GB model and Rp 2,999,000 (around Rs 16,000) for the 8GB+256GB model.

According to rumours, the Realme C55 would be available in India with a range of storage options, including 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. Customers in India would be able to select from three colour options, including Rainforest, Rainy Night, and Sunshower.

Realme C55’s look

The punch-hole display of the Relame C55 has a pronounced chin. A rectangular camera module with two camera sensors and an LED flash is located on the flat, matte-finished rear panel. It will have a Tiny Capsule, which is comparable to the Dynamic Island in iPhone 14 Pro versions.

Realme C55 specifications

The Realme C55, which debuted in Indonesia, has a 64MP primary camera and 33W rapid charging. The screen of the gadget is a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a punch-hole cutout in the centre for the front camera. A 2MP depth lens is attached to the main 64MP camera. Selfies and video calls are handled via an 8MP selfie camera.

The MediaTek Helio G88 chipset powers the Realme C55, which comes pre-installed with Realme UI, an Android 13-based user interface. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W SuperVOOC rapid charging are all included. 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port for charging are all available forms of connectivity. At a 7.89mm thickness, this Realme C-series phone is also among the slimmest ever.

Does the Realme C55 support 5G?

The impending Realme C55 is not a 5G mobile device, sorry. The phone has 5GHz Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity.
