The Indianised version of PUBG Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India, has been allegedly found sending data to servers in China.
According to the reports, the multi-player online game is sending data of Indian users to servers located in China. These servers also include one that belongs to Tencent, the developer of PUBG Mobile.
Notably, the game is using many servers to communicate. Out of all servers, China Mobile Communications is the most frequently used server.
According to the reports, the multiplayer online game is also found relaying data between servers installed in Hong Kong, Moscow, the US, and Mumbai.
Citing some Battlegrounds Mobile India players, IGN India reported that the game is not complying with what was agreed upon by Krafton in 2020.
According to the reports, a data packet sniffer was used before a match on the game. After a probe, the Battlegrounds Mobile India was also found exchanging data with Chinese and other foreign servers.
