Samsung Galaxy F22 may join the company’s new Galaxy F series. According to reports, the smartphone will be based on the Samsung Galaxy A22 or Galaxy A22 5G. Both these phone have not been unveiled yet though.
However, the two have been rumoured based on a few leaks. The Galaxy F22 may bear model number SM-E225F and is reportedly in development with no set release date.
Samsung Galaxy F series
In September 2020, Samsung had launched its Galaxy F series in India and rolled out the series’ first phone, the Galaxy F41, in October. It then launched the Galaxy F62 in February 2021, followed by the Galaxy F12 and the Galaxy F02 in April this year.
According to a report by Sammobile, Samsung is currently working on a new Galaxy F series smartphone called the Galaxy F22. The phone reportedly bears model number SM-E225F. A tipster with the username “the_tech_guy” on Twitter had shared this info.
Samsung Galaxy F22 expected specs
The Sammobile report claims that the Samsung Galaxy F22 could be based on the Galaxy A22 or the Galaxy A22 5G. Last month, the Galaxy A22 5G was spotted on a Geekbench listing with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and Android 11. If the Sammobile report that Galaxy F22 is based on this phone is true, we can get an idea about the specifications.
In the past, the Galaxy A22 5G has been rumoured to get a 6.5-inch display and a 3.5mm audio jack. It may come with a triple rear camera, but a quad rear camera setup has also been claimed. It includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and two 2-megapixel sensors.
